Little John's Diner

The food is fresh made and absolutely delicious, you get good portions too! Granted you will have to wait a bit as there is just one chef, but he takes extreme pride in every dish and it shows. Highly recommend you try Little John’s Diner, you will enjoy every bite!

Great fresh food, affordable prices! Very nice portions. I was able to give my spouse half of my hash browns & still had a full serving. Fast service & atmosphere. Very lovely people working. We will definitely be back.

Came to this diner around 12:30ish on 01/31/2025 and it wasn't busy. The staff was amazing and very attentive. I believe the manager/owner came out to ensure that we enjoyed everything which was refreshing. Food tastes homemade and was excellent.I had the breakfast that is listed first on the menu (sorry, cant remember what it was called) and it came with grits, one egg, 2 breakfast sausage, and toast. It is not very often that you can get grits cooked properly but I was very satisfied. My husband got the Big Daddy Breakfast and he was stuffed by the time he was done. Definitely worth the cost.Everything was very flavorful and the staff was very attentive, as stated above. The waitress was unsatisfied with the look of my toast and remade it even though I did not think it was necessary.I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to get away from the big corporate places and have a nice relaxing breakfast or lunch.They can get busy so the wait could be a little long but it would be worth it.

I had the pleasure to eat here on my birthday, a lil cozy restaurant right up the street from where we live . We legit take this road everyday to and from work and pass by every day and finally one day I had to go in there because we heard they had the best biscuits and gravy . The waiter was super nice and attendant , almost felt like I had came over aunties house and uncle was back whipping it in the kitchen . Our food was brought out in a decent amount of time . The best part of the experience, the owner came personally to our table ,asked if every thing was ok , turns out he was the cook as well, as a seasoned chef for almost 11 years now , I saw first hand what running a diner is about . Sending out comfort food that not only makes you feel at home but left with a story and an experience to tell . I recommend this place over ihop or Dennys any day!!!

Amazing food, great prices, and friendly staff. Definitely support this local family owned diner if you’re in Winter Haven. It’s near Legoland.

Great experience at Little John's! We were starting at the nearby Legoland Beach resort and the crowd at breakfast was insane so we drove around the corner and tried out LJ's and we're very glad we did. The food was excellent, particularly the extra crispy hash browns. I got the country boy tomorrow which went really well with a biscuit on the side. Highly recommended!

This is a little gem. The place is immaculate, the staff is extremely nice and the food is really good. Good Ol’e diner food. They do a great job on the southern food diner experience, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, gravy, white sausage gravy, gravy on everything is my take and let’s not forget country fried steak (with gravy, of course). If you’re hankering for sum good ole southern vittles you need to come on over, I guaranty you’ll leave full as a tick.
